We know by now that Hudson Moore is a goofy kid, but here are a few pictures to prove it. (I've got more, but I didn't bring them to work with me this morning, so they'll have to wait for another time.) The first pic is Hudson with a McDonalds Happy Meal box on his head, he was using the M on the handle as glasses... apparently this gave him super powers, and I was laughing so hard I couldn't warn him that he probably couldn't see good and may get hurt. Fortunately he didn't, unfortunately it is now one of his new favorite toys... The second picture is a little harder to explain. Hudson only wears a pull up for overnight or sunday naps... He's not wearing pants because he was already asleep when I got the pull up on him. Anyhow, I was on the computer when he woke up and I could hear him banging around in his room for a while before he imerged with one sandle on and one sneaker with a black sock, he danced around the room for a minute and then disappeared again... Also, he's been referring to himself as Rudolf the RedNosed Reindeer for the past few days... I don't know... don't ask...

I have alot of time to browse the internet while at work. I know, it's sad and pathetic and not really work... yadda yadda yadda, but a girl has to be entertained somehow, and watching students try to sneak out their cell phones can only amuse me for so long... Anyway, by some chance, I happened across this really cool website www.worth1000.com. It's based on the saying a picture is worth 100 words, and a photoshopped picture is worth even more! :) Here are a few that I found funny. If you go browse, I suggest the Modern Renisance galleries where you will find some of your favorite modern celebrities in classic artwork... (My wall in ISS has a bunch.) I would warn you though that some of the pictures can be kind of gross... like when they make celebrities look old, fat, dead...ect.... But over all an impressive site.. Check it out sometime...
And No. This is not a paid blog. It's my real opinion... it just sounds like a sales pitch...

Aren't we a cute family? I thought so!

MEET CHARLIE: ("ie" is more feminine since she is a girl, I guess)

color: Pink

Occupation: Hudson's best friend and "coolest toy in the world" (direct quote, I kid you not.)

Likes: Riding in mommy's pocket, being "very magical" and talking too much.

Dislikes: getting lost

(This is a pig I bought last May for a geocache, but glad I kept.)

Has Anyone Seen Charley?

We lost Charley, it was very sad. Yesterday we went to a Chinese food restruant in Havre, and I accidently opened the glass door into Hudson's face. I felt horrible, so I offered to buy him a 25cent toy from the machine in the Chinese Food place. It was a squishy pink pig that Hudson immediately named Charley, "No, mommy, it's a girl Charlie..." oh, my mistake... and played with her quite happily for about 30 minutes; talking to her, laughing at her jokes, and giving her all sorts of magical abilities...

Then we went to Ben Franklins, and Hudson was supposed to wait in the car with daddy, but Hudson had to go potty so daddy took him inside... Somewhere between the van and the bathroom Hudsons mittened little hand lost its grip on the squishy little pig and Charley was lost. We searched and searched but in the end, I had to say, "Sorry honey, Charley is gone."

I have never seen this child cry so hard in my life. As Grandpa was driving away, Hudson wailed, "Stop! Stop! Go back! We need to find Charley!" When bribed with all sorts of things I thought could replace Charley, hudson would cry, "I don't want ____, I want CHARLEY!"

I mean he only had it for a little while, but he was very attached. I felt so helpless and close to tears myself. I could do NOTHING to help him. I want to go back and pump quarters into the machine to buy a new one, but I can't afford to waste more money and we probably won't get back to the place for a while.

Grandma moore said, "Let's hope he forgets about it," b ut this morning when we climbed in the van to go to church Hudson's first question was, "Are we going back to get Charley now?"

:( Poor little kid...

New Year: I resolve... to keep trying my best.
And so far I've done pretty darn good.. Yesterday I cleaned the entire kitchen-- Deep cleaned! And it felt so good that I kept looking for excuses to go in there and bask in the freshly mopped floors and admire the cleared counterspace. I even cleaned out the fridge. Out with last year's left overs!... wait, that sounded alot worse than it acutally was! Anyway... I even took pictures, that's how nice it looks. I know, I'm a nerd... I also deep cleaned the bathroom, scrubbing around the base of the toilet, used elbow greese to clean the tub, and even washed the bathmats and mopped in there too. Call me crazy, but cleaning the bathroom is my favorite chore. You know why? Because it's so small that I get done fast and really feel like I've accomplished something. I am really feeling like I'm starting the new year right. But now, I'm left with the living room and dining room which are still being dominated by the Christmas tree, that I don't know where to take now that the season is over... :( Mean while I've got a long list of errands to run but it's blizzarding outside and I'm hesitant to leave the house... hmmmm...

I want to get everything in order before I have to go back to work... Sigh

This was one of my favorite moments from the break. I loved watching Hudson help Grandma Moore make overnight rolls. He was really excited to help and he did a pretty good job. The end result was yummy!

Here is Hudson and his gift from Santa, it's a huge train set. Also pictured, a gift from Grandpa and Grandma Moore, a seriously cool train table that Hudson will enjoy for years to come. :) We've reorganized his room so there is a special place for it! :)
