Took some fun pictures of Hudson today, he was being so sweet and smiley. I didn't get any good shots of him smiling yet. Someday maybe he'll smile on purpose!

everybody loves Hudson! Posted by Picasa I love this photo. Isn't it cool how a baby can make people get all googily?

hair do Posted by Picasa Hmmm, Hudson and Odessa have the same hair style!

cake! Posted by Picasa This is the wonderful cake Odessa made for Hudson's baby shower! The whole shower was a Winnie the Pooh theme. The cake is an air balloon with all the pooh characters inside! It must have taken forever! THANK YOU ODESSA! :)

This is me right before they induced me. The last pregnant photo! I was pretty nervous, but so ready to get it over with. Toward the end I was really uncomfortable. Look at me! I was HUGE! I really don't remember being that big, but the photo doesn't lie! :)

Last night, Hudson was up crying all night. I only got a little sleep, and poor Jason didn't get any at all. We really don't know what was wrong, but since he's been spitting up a little more than we'd like, we've decided that I am going to eliminate milk from my diet for a few days to see if it upsets his tummy. It could be a lactose intolerance. It breaks my heart to see him so upset. I hope he feels better soon!

I guess it's just what being a parent is all about. We will learn how to sooth him as we go along. Meantimes, we will just have to endure and love him inspite of it! He can't help it, he's only a little baby!

This is a picture of Hudson at four days old. He is on his Grandma Griffin's lap. I love this photo! His hair is so long and wild, and his eyes are so bright. (He spends so much time sleeping that we don't see them often.) When she saw the photo, my friend Colleen said, "He's a thinker, you can already tell." I agree. It's amazing to me that someone so new to the world can already have such personality.

Hudson was the sweetest little jack-o-lantern this Halloween. I paid alot of money for the costume several weeks before he was born. Jason thought it was silly because he'd only wear it once, but I was determined! I think the investment was well worth it... what do you think?

It's official! The newest member of our family has arrived! On October 21st at 12:41 pm, little Hudson James Moore was born at Auburn Regional Medical center.

We arrived at the hospital at 6:00 AM so they could induce me. I was really nervous but excited too.

At 8 am they broke my water and immediately the contractions started hard! After only two I decided to get the epidural. At first I was a little disappointed with myself because I couldn't do it naturally. Women have done it naturally for millions of years, but I couldn't even make it through 2 contractions... The nurse said that you don't get any brownie points in heaven if you did it naturally. Once the epidural kicked in, I felt so good! I even told the anathesiologist that I loved him. I was able to take a nap for a while until the doctor woke me up and told me to push. 20 minutes later Hudson was born! We're so excited!
